We respect your privacy. This website is a simple information site about our holiday home in Tarajalejo, Fuerteventura. It has no forms, no user accounts, no newsletter, no analytics and no advertising. This page explains the little personal data that is processed when you visit the site or contact us.

What data we process

When you visit the website

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. When you open a page, your browser sends technical information to Cloudflare's servers, such as your IP address, the page you requested, the date and time, and your browser type. Cloudflare uses this data only to deliver the website quickly and to protect it against attacks, and keeps it for a short period. It also gives us anonymous traffic statistics (such as the number of visits), without cookies. We do not use this data to identify you. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf; see the Cloudflare privacy policy.

When you view the map

The contact page shows a map from OpenStreetMap. To display it, your browser loads map images directly from the OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address in the process. See the privacy policy of the OpenStreetMap Foundation for how they handle this data.

When you contact us

If you email or call us, we receive the information you share with us, such as your name, email address or phone number, and the content of your message. We use it only to answer your question or to handle your booking, and we keep it no longer than needed for that purpose and for our legal obligations, such as accounting.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies and does not track your visit. We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks or social media plugins. The fonts are served from our own website, so no data is sent to font services. See our Cookie Policy for more information.

Links to other websites

This website links to our pages on Facebook and Airbnb. These links only open those websites; no data is shared with them until you click. Once you are on another website, its own privacy policy applies.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties, except with our hosting provider Cloudflare and OpenStreetMap as described above, or when we are required to by law.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict or object to the processing of your data;
  • receive your data in a portable format.

If you believe we handle your personal data incorrectly, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, such as the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos or the authority in your own country.
